The Mirna River, also known as Quieto in Italian, flows through Istria, Croatia. Historically referred to as the Aquilis, it is the longest and most abundant river in Istria, stretching 53 kilometers (33 miles) with a basin spanning 458 square kilometers (177 square miles). Originating near Buzet, it meanders past Motovun before ultimately reaching the Adriatic Sea close to Novigrad.
