Also known as Late Renaissance, is a style in European art that emerged in the later years of the Italian High Renaissance around 1520, spreading by about 1530 and lasting until about the end of the 16th century in Italy, when the Baroque style largely replaced it. Palazzo Ragazzoni is the symbol of Sacile and its bond with the Republic of Venice. It was known as 'the place of delights' because of its opulence and luxury and was a meeting point for the sovereigns, popes and emperors. It now bears the name of the family that had created its splendour. Today only the elegant main core of the ancient architectural design remains, with its precious facades. The one looking onto Viale Zancanaro features a triple-arched window and a luminous four-arched window with columned balustrades and friezes, while the one looking onto the river Livenza features a five-arched window with a sill at the height of the first floor and still bears the marks of the shots of the 4th Battalion of the Bersaglieri which fought here on 6th and 7th November 1917. In the main courtyard there are twelve plaster statues from the school of Alessandro Vittoria (1525-1608). Inside the palace there are splendid sixteenth-century frescoes realized by the Mannerist painter, Francesco Montemezzano. In the 'Salone degli Imperatori', the Hall of the Emperors, an evocative pictorial cycle depicts the brothers Giacomo and Placido Ragazzoni with the rulers of the time. In the 'Sala delle Bandiere', the Hall of Flags, we can see the symbols of the nations with which the Ragazzoni family was linked. The majestic 'Salone d'Onore', the Hall of Honour', which is surmounted by a wooden walkway, still has the original walls of the upper floor, frescoed with mythological and allegorical figures and an ornate wooden ceiling. Adjacent to the Hall of the Emperors is the Gentilizia Chapel, with fine plaster decorations of the 18th century. Since 1936, in accordance with the decision of the last heirs of the Lacchin family, the building belongs to the City Council of Sacile.

The Great Cloister of the Franciscan Monastery in Trsat, Rijeka, has two entrances, one adjacent to the church facade and another leading from the church itself. It was constructed during the sweeping Baroque era in the latter part of the 17th century. Surprisingly, it was never considered part of the monastery cloister but rather served as an open area for pilgrims to rest, refresh, and quench their thirst. The cloister boasts massive plastered masonry columns and cross vaults, exemplifying the essence of continental Baroque architecture. Notably, the cylindrical crown of the water reservoir (sterne) showcases Mannerist design characteristics, akin to other stone architectural features in Trsat during that period. After the fire in 1629, the cloister underwent reconstruction, and Serafin Schön adorned it with a series of frescoes depicting scenes from the life of the Virgin.

Built in the shape of a Latin cross, the single nave Cathedral of the Apostles St Peter and St Paul is the heart of the Siauliai diocese, which Pope John Paul II created in 1997. The Church is Lithuania's most representative example of Renaissance Mannerist architecture. Completed in 1625, this majestic building with many original architectural elements seems to have been built for defense purposes. The thick walls and compact form of the Church, its bow windows on the main façade and the churchyard gate towers with firing holes are reminiscent of a defense construction. This is further emphasized by the churchyard gate, unique in Lithuania, which stands directly in front of the Cathedral. The image of a well fortified building was achieved by combining local architectural traditions with the examples from Western Europe. Devout souls can often be seen inside Siauliai Cathedral praying in front of its celebrated painting of the Virgin Mary and the Infant.

The original building was erected during the first third of the 14th century for the Brotherhood of Blackheads, a guild for unmarried merchants, shipowners, and foreigners in Riga. Major works were done in the early 17th century, adding most of the Mannerist ornamentation. The sculptures were made by the workshop of August Volz. Additionally, it is the site of the first decorated Christmas tree, which was erected in 1510. Bombed to a ruin by the Germans on June 28, 1941 - a week after the launching of Operation Barbarossa - the remains were demolished by the Soviets in 1948. It was rebuilt between 1996 and 1999 with funds provided by Valērijs Kargins, the president of Parex Bank. The House of the Blackheads is a museum. In the upper level are located grand ballrooms, where historically many luxurious events happened. On another floor it is possible to visit the historic cabinets - a former work-space for the President of Latvia, who moved the Presidential residence to the House of the Blackheads from 2012 to 2016. The historical cellar is the only original part of the building which survived World War II and during the Soviet Occupation.
