Extended Wall - Hwaseong Fortress

This extended wall, from the Southwestern Secret Entrance to the Southwestern Corner Pavilion, was designed to defend the adjacent area. Its location has great strategic significance, as it is high enough to have a comprehensive view of the entire fortress. Two bastions were added in the middle of the wall for the purpose of attacking enemies approaching from the side.
