This building was once an inn operated by DR. Felix Veth. Archduke Franz Ferdinand of the Austro-Hungarian empire stayed here between October 4th and November 26th, 1895. Shortly afterwards the east coast of the port of Mali Lošinj was named after him in honour of his visit. The building later became Hotel Adria.
