The Port of Vlora is a major seaport located in the southwestern part of Albania, on the Adriatic Sea. It is the second-largest port in the country, after the Port of Durres, and serves as an important gateway for the transportation of goods to and from Albania and the surrounding region. The port has modern facilities including quays, warehouses, and container terminals, and handles a variety of cargo including general goods, bulk commodities, and containers. The port also has a passenger terminal, serving as a hub for ferry services to the nearby islands of Sazan and Karaburun, as well as to other destinations in the Mediterranean such as Brindisi in Italy.
