Orlivka Ferry Crossing Point
The Orlivka ferry crossing point, situated on the Danube and connecting Ukraine to Romania in the Izmail District of the Odesa Region, has temporarily halted its operations due to a nighttime assault by Russian occupiers. The Ukrainian State Border Service made this announcement on September 26 (2023) via their Facebook account. They stated that measures are being taken to restore and stabilize operations after the enemy's attack, and they will provide updates regarding the resumption of crossing operations. In the meantime, alternative border crossing routes, such as the Reni car checkpoint, are advised for travelers.
