The Gate of the Pasha is made of stone and has an arch decorated with scrolls and garlands in high relief. The stones are carved with high skill and the thin mortar layers give the monument a graceful appearance. Over the gate there was a kameriye (terrace) for leisurely contemplation which could be reached through the stone steps built on the left side of the entrance. Today, the terrace no longer exists and the stone steps have been reconstructed. On both sides of the road are two benches, about 70 cm high, and paved with tiles that were used for sitting. The high relief of the carved stones surrounding the arch on three sides is a fine example of local stone carving. It presents decorative rosettes and other floral motifs. In the upper part of the palace, there still remains the big house of the Vrioni family.
