The entry gate in Ancient Onhezmus is located in the city of Saranda and is the gateway to the fortress of Onhezmi on the Western side. Named in antiquity from southeastern wind known as Onhezmites. Onhezmi was at first mentioned during the 1st century B.C. by Strabo and Dionysius of Hallcarnassus, two centuries later by Ptolemy, who called it a Kaon Harbor. Today, the monument is preserved in good condition.
