The Dollmës shrine (Tekke of Dollmë) can be found within the Krujë Castle walls and is a temple built for the Bektashi faith. It was built in 1779 by the Dollmës people using inscribed stones. The building was constructed in the Byzantine style; however, it features murals from the period on most of the internal surfaces. Inside the structure lies the tombs of people important to the Bektashi faith. The building has a domed roof covered with tiles and an iron gate. The frescoes occupy more than three quarters of the surface of the walls and it was declared a national monument in 1973.
