Church of St. George - Kneževo
The Church of St. George, also known as Crkva svetog Đorđa in Croatian and Црква светог Ђорђа in Serbian Cyrillic, is a Serbian Orthodox church located in the town of Kneževo in eastern Croatia. This historical church was constructed in 1929 as part of the royal summer residence, following the decision made by King Alexander I of Yugoslavia. Within the church's interior, there are two magnificent thrones made of walnut wood. One throne is designated for the king, while the other is intended for the queen. These intricately crafted thrones contribute to the aesthetic charm of the church building and add to its rich cultural significance.
