Rannapark translates into English as 'Beach Park'. Construction of the park began in 1882. Since the park is located near the beach, it is a popular walking and recreation area. There are several private seating areas in the park and it is also possible to have a picnic there. There is a children's playground in the park area on the sea side. Rannapark is the second most species-rich city park in Estonia.
