Punnichy (population 213 in 2016) is a village in Saskatchewan, Canada, located within the Rural Municipality of Mount Hope No. 279 and Census Division No. 10. It lies 126 km (78 mi) northeast of Regina. The village is situated on Highway 15 in the Touchwood Hills, between Quinton to the west and Lestock to the east, and is part of the historical 'Alphabet Line' of the Canadian National Railway. The name Punnichy is derived from 'panacay,' meaning 'fledgling bird with few feathers' in Saulteaux, a term humorously referring to a pioneer merchant's appearance.
Punnichy is surrounded by four First Nation reserves: Muskowekwan, Kawacatoose, Daystar, and Gordon. It was also the site of one of the last operating residential schools in Canada, Gordon Indian Residential School, which closed in 1996.
The village is part of the provincial Last Mountain-Touchwood constituency and the federal Regina—Qu'Appelle constituency. Punnichy marked its centennial in 2009.

According to the 2021 Census, it had a population of 212 residing in 79 out of 87 private dwellings, reflecting a slight decrease of 0.5% from its 2016 population of 213. The village covers an area of 0.68 km² (0.26 sq mi), resulting in a population density of 311.8/km² (807.5/sq mi) in 2021.
In the 2016 Census, Punnichy had a population of 213 living in 83 of its 117 private dwellings, marking a 15.5% decrease from its 2011 population of 246. With the same land area of 0.68 km² (0.26 sq mi), its population density was 313.2/km² (811.3/sq mi) in 2016.
