On October 5th, 1947, a fishermen's union named Dzintarjura was founded. It originally united fishermen of Pavilosta and Jurkalne. The beginnings were modest with 10 worn out motorboats, 25 rowing-sailing boats, 280 herring and 17 sprat fishing nets, 8 plaice nets and 383000 specialized cod hooks. In 1949, the fishermen union acquired the first RP type fishing vessel "Trieciennieks", built in the Democratic Republic of Germany (then Eastern Germany). The USSR obtained it as compensation for the damages caused in World War II from Germany. By the 1970s, the fishery collective farm Dzintarjura owned 16 fishing vessels. The vessel "Dole" was one of such vessels. In the beginning of the 1990s, the RB type fishing vessel Dole was presented as a gift to the Pavilosta local history museum. The dimensions of the vessel were: length - 18.20 meters, width - 5.22 meters, height - 2.5 meters. In 2005, thanks to sponsors (State Culture Capital Foundation) and supporters, the vessel was renovated and installed in memory of those fishermen's families who had followed the call of the sea. The vessel has witnessed the past times and is the only type of RB vessel that has survived until modern times in Latvia.
