Michel Sittow (1469-1525) court artisan to Isabella of Castile, painter from the Flemish school and citizen of Tallinn, inherited his father's, the artist Clawes van der Sittow's house, where he lived until his death (1525). The dwelling, which was later repeatedly restored and heightened, and the archway with the granary have not preserved their medieval facade but still maintain the main walls and structure. The basements have the most archaic appearance. In the front hall, there is a decorative plaque with armatures from the time when the house was owned by the Wrangell family in the 18th century. A small building has been added behind the joint facade. This was initially a separate property, owned by the shoemaker Peter Rumpe during Sittow's time.
