Locals in a municipality in northern Kosovo with a Serb majority assert that the government's decision to expropriate land for the construction of a police station violates their rights and calls the public interest into question. Since February, residents of the Leposavic municipality in northern Kosovo have been camping in tents on a road leading to the village of Dren and working in shifts to prevent heavy machinery from restarting construction of a police station on expropriated land in the village.
