Ladakalnis Hill is a part of Šiliniškės Ridge and rises 175 meters above sea level. Six lakes can be observed from the top. Once it was a sacrificial place for the pagan deity Goddess Lada. The name might be connected with the word ice also - pronounced as ladas in local dialect. The presidential oaks grow on the side of the hilltop. There is a tradition for the newly elected president of Lithuania to plant an oak on a slope of Ladakalnis. The only natural oak wood in the park is seen from Ladakalnis looking to the east. Some especially rare plant species are found there like Siberian iris (Iris sibirica), globe-flower (trollius europaeus), adder's-tongue (Ophioglossum vulgatum), fragrant orchid (Gymnadenia conopsea), early purple orchid (Orchis mascula).
