Jasan Park commands a fine view of Yeosuhang Port and the old downtown area of Yeosu, with the beautiful coastline of Hallyeohaesang National Park in the distance. In the observatory of the turtle-ship-shaped Vessel Traffic Service Center (VTSC), visitors can watch large oil tankers traveling between Yeosuhang Port and Gwangyanghang Port. In the park, a statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin stands tall overlooking the coastal waters of Yeosu. This statue, Korea's tallest at 15 meters, was unveiled in 1967 to celebrate Admiral Yi's birthday. You can experience the pleasure of flying over the sea by marine cable car between Jasan Park and Dolsan Park.
