The Eesti Power Plant is distinguished by two towering flue-gas stacks, each reaching 250 meters, the tallest in Estonia. In 2014, it gained recognition as the 15th most polluting power plant in the European Union, emitting 10.67 Mt of CO2 annually and standing as the sole representative from the Baltic states and Nordic countries region on the list.
