Architect
Victor Marius Prus (April 24, 1917, Mińsk Mazowiecki, Poland – January 21, 2017, Montreal) was a Polish-born Canadian architect renowned for designing prominent buildings across Quebec. Among his notable works is the Grand Théâtre de Québec in Quebec City, a design selected in a national competition in 1964. Working alongside his wife, Maria Fisz Prus, and a team of collaborators, Prus created buildings celebrated for their distinctive and fitting ambiance, which he regarded as the "ultimate objective" of architecture. His designs garnered numerous awards throughout his career.
