Scott Johnson, born on February 1, 1951, is an esteemed American architect, serving as the co-founder and Design Partner of Johnson Fain, a globally recognized architecture, planning, and interior design firm headquartered in Los Angeles. Johnson's educational background includes studies at Stanford University, the University of California, Berkeley, and the Harvard Graduate School of Design. He has shared his expertise through lectures and teaching roles at esteemed institutions like SCI-Arc, UCLA, UCB, and USC, where he also directed the Master of Architecture Programs from 2003 to 2006. Having worked at renowned firms such as The Architects' Collaborative (TAC), Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), and Johnson Burgee, Johnson's career blossomed when he assumed leadership at Pereira Associates in Los Angeles in 1983. Later partnering with William H. Fain, Jr., a former Harvard classmate, he revamped and rebranded the firm as Johnson Fain in 1989.
