Kozma Naska (1921-1944) Hero of the people. Prominent activist of the ANC War. He was born in Berat, in a patriotic family. He worked as a carpenter in the city of Elbasan, where he became a member of the Communist Youth and the leader of the worker and anti-fascist youth of this city. Member of PKSH in 1942. He was particularly noted for leading the guerilla unit that carried out many daring actions and assassinations, as well as for setting up NC councils. Commissar of the I battalion of the II S Brigade (1943), distinguished himself for bravery in many battles. He died heroically in the war against the gendarme-ballistic forces between the villages of Brar and Ferraj in Tirana, on 23.1.1944. .
