Juraj Šporer

Juraj Matija Šporer ( Karlovac, February 24, 1795 – Rijeka , August 1, 1884 ) doctor. He attended gymnasium in Zagreb , then Senja and finished in Zagreb. He graduated in philosophy and medicine in Vienna, where he was promoted to doctor in 1819. He was an excellent medical expert and wrote many treatises, today he is significant for being the forerunner of the Illyrian movement.
