Alexandre de Lur-Saluces

Count Alexandre de Lur Saluces (20 May 1934 – 24 July 2023) was a prominent French viticulturist. He served as the manager of Château d’Yquem for 36 years, continuing in this role until his passing. Additionally, he maintained his managerial position at Château de Fargues, both renowned Sauternais châteaux that had been held by the esteemed Lur Saluces family for generations.
