Architecture Firm
Bolles+Wilson, an architectural firm co-founded by Julia Bolles and Peter Wilson, originated with both members as graduates of the Architectural Association (AA). Initially established in London, the firm relocated to Münster following their success in the design competition for the Münster City Library. Among their notable projects are the Luxor Theatre in Rotterdam (2001) and the Helmond City Library (2010). Julia B. Bolles-Willson, born in 1948 in Münster, earned her degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in 1976. She has held the position of professor for architectural design at the Fachhochschule Münster since 1996. Peter L. Wilson, born in 1950 in Melbourne, pursued studies at the University of Melbourne from 1969 to 1971 before completing his graduation at the AA in 1974. Notably, he received the Australian Institute of Architects Gold Medal in 2013.
