The sector from the twofold fortress wall along Vitosha Street is one of the few places where the fortifications can be seen above the surface over the years until today. The first fortress wall, II - IV century can be traced today in the foundations of several buildings in Vitosha Street, the entrance of which are situated on the side of Saborna street, numbers 49, 53, 55, 57 and 59. Several of its sectors have been explored in connection with the reconstruction of the buildings and the conservation of the wall. There are antique constructions of barracks exhibited in the basement of the Cricket kindergarten.The second fortress wall is partially preserved.External fortress wall (Early Byzantine) X -VI century. Here, the twofold (external) fortress wall visible from Vitosha Street is exposed at a height of about 1m. The masonry is in opus mixtum with brick layers of 5 rows of bricks cemented with larger pieces of bricks. During the urbanization and improvements of the sector, a few times during the 20th century part of the supporting structure on the wall.
