The Emirates Towers is a prominent building complex in Dubai, comprising the Emirates Office Tower and Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel, linked by a two-story retail hub known as 'The Boulevard'. Standing at 354.6 m tall to the tip and 241.4 m high of occupied space respectively, these towers are among the world's tallest, ranking 51st globally and 11th in Dubai. Construction of the Emirates Towers complex commenced in 1996 and was completed in 1999, culminating in its grand opening on 15 April 2000. Owned by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the complex symbolizes the city's skyline. The construction was undertaken by Al Ghurair Investment Group for the Emirates Office Tower and by Ssangyong and BESIX subsidiary Six Construct for the Emirates Hotel Tower. Notably, the hotel tower boasts 400 rooms, while the office tower contains 56 floors above ground compared to the hotel's 54 floors, owing to differences in individual floor heights. The complex features 17 elevators and ample parking space for up to 1,500 cars across its sprawling 570,000 m2 garden area, complete with lakes, waterfalls, and public seating areas. While once the tallest buildings in Dubai, the Emirates Towers continue to be an iconic feature of the city. In 2019, Marcus Sutton was appointed General Manager of the Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
