A medieval castle and hamlet of Serravalle, located between the cities of Modena and Bologna in the Emilia Romagna region of northern Italy, is for sale for 2 million USD. The history of Serravalle is rich, the fortress for centuries has been part of territorial feuds and battles against invaders. In the 12th century the castle was disputed by Modena and Bologna for its strategic military position. The fortification was built on the ashes of a Roman military outpost 'Verabulum', The property is made up of a castle, a three-level 18th century palace named 'Palazzo Boccadiferro', hunting lodge with a woodshed, four-story lookout tower, a panoramic walkway and a 14,000 square-meter park. The castle is inhabitable with heating, kitchen, utilities, fireplaces, several bedrooms and bathrooms. Located in a quiet and peaceful environment the village itself has approximately 40 inhabitants, church with a frescoe, tavern, and wine museum. There is hiking, biking, and riding trails as well as a golf course in the surrounding area.

A video showing Baekryeong Island (Baengnyeongdo), which is the western most territory in South Korea. It is far closer to North Korea than to South Korea. It is inhabited by residents as well as a large number of soldiers. It is highly fortified, and the South Korean military regularly perform military exercises in case of attack. Historically the leadership in North Korea have made threats towards the island and performed aggressive military action towards the island. In the video you can see footage of the island, as well as listen to personal experiences and opinions of residents who live there. It is a tourist destination as well, mostly for domestic tourists from the mainland of South Korea.

In the Russian town of Borovsk, artist Vladimir Ovchinnikov is taking a stand against the Russian war in Ukraine by painting images around the town. Authorities have been fining him, and removing the art work. He is continuing to paint them, risking further punishment such as jail time.
