Olev's Guild (first mentioned 1341) was a guild for the handicraftsman of 28 smaller guilds, most of whom were Estonians involved in building and transport. The front hall building and the festive halls were situated on Pikk Street (Long Street). The star-vaulted hall built between 1419-1424 is the most beautiful double-vaulted festive hall in Tallinn. The Medieval false windowed gable of the hall building has been lost. A relief of the patron of the Guild, the Norwegian St. Olav (16th century) stands above the goods hatches on the facade of the front hall building. The Guild buildings caught fire in 1679. The guild was closed in 1699, after which the renovated buildings were used as storage and business space. The coats of arms of Burchardt and von zur Mühlen (1749) on the facade of the front hall house indicate the owners of the building at the time. The Brotherhood of Black Heads acquired the front hall building in 1806 and the festive halls in 1919 and had them adapted for their activities.
