The sculpture of Oscar Wilde and Eduard Vilde is a bronze sculpture located on Vallikraavi Street in Tartu, which depicts writers Eduard Vilde and Oscar Wilde sitting on a granite bench. The author of the sculpture is Tiiu Kirsipuu. The monument was unveiled on May 30, 1999. A copy of the sculpture was given as a gift in 2004 to the city of Galway in Ireland.

The first version of the bridge was completed in 1816 on the basis of the project of Johann Wilhelm Krause, architect of Tartu University. However, the bridge in its present form was built according to the blueprint of Moritz Hermann von Jacoby, professor of architecture, as late as in 1836. In 1913, while being renovated, a memorial medal to the first rector of Tartu University Georg Friedrich von Parrot was attached to Angel Bridge. The name of Angel Bridge has been interpreted in various ways. According to the popular explanation, it derives from the name of 'English Bridge'. However, the angel face of rector Parrot with its curry hair has also been suggested as a possible reason. The Latin motto, 'Otium reficit vires', means 'repose restores strength'. At present, Angel Bridge and Devil Bridge are among the best known symbols of Tartu.

Inglisild ('Angel's Bridge') is a bridge located on the hill of Toomemägi (Toome Hill) in Tartu The bridge was built between 1814 and 1816 and was designed by Johann Wilhelm Krause. Later, the bridge was somewhat re-built and in 1836 construction works ended. The rebuilt structure was designed by Moritz Hermann von Jacobi. The portrait relief in the middle of the bridge commemorates the first rector of the re-founded University of Tartu in 1802, Georg Friedrich Parrot (1767–1852), and bears the inscription Otium reficit vires ('Leisure Renews the Powers'). On 21 April 2012 the bridge was damaged by fire.

Kuradisild (Devil's Bridge; originally Aleksandri sild, German: Alexander Brücke, Alexander's Bridge) is a dark concrete bridge located on the hill of Toomemägi (Toome Hill) in Tartu, built to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty in 1913. It is one of the symbols and landmarks of Tartu. The Toome Hill side of the bridge is decorated with the numbers 1613 and 1913, commemorating the jubilee; the Toome Valley side of the bridge bears a bronze relief of Alexander I of Russia (made by Constanze von Wetter-Rosenthal) and the words "Alexandro Primo".
