At  Irena Fonda's cooking class at Fonda Fish Garden in Seča (Portorož), participants will embark on a culinary adventure focused on mastering the art of preparing fish and seafood. Led by Irena Fonda herself, a molecular biologist and passionate cook, the workshop covers a range of essential skills, including filleting seabass, preparing mussels, crafting seafood pasta, and safely handling raw fish.

The experience begins with a refreshing glass of local wine or chilled water with local herbs, setting the stage for an immersive dive into the world of seafood. Participants will learn valuable tips on selecting fresh fish, proper storage techniques, and more. The workshop offers a hands-on approach, allowing participants to cook, learn, and have fun in a small group setting.

The highlight of the workshop is the gourmet seafood feast enjoyed under pine trees, followed by a seasonal dessert for a sweet farewell. Workshops are held on Thursdays at 5 p.m. and Sundays at 11 a.m., with options for English, Italian, German, and Slovene languages upon request.
